Since I haven't been drawing that much lately I'm uploading a whole bunch of photos. Lots of spring flowers are coming out right now and I've been out and getting photos of just about everything. The pink ladyslippers are up early, pinkster has been out, and I caught rhodora — which is rare in New York — at its peak.
Besides that I've been posting sketches to a Tumblr and a whole lot of other photos to another. There are enough queued to last for the next few months.

Wordpress
I've started uploading sketches to my Wordpress blog again. I'll probably write stuff on there from time to time too. So if you want to see my toony sketches and stuff, they'll be there along with other stuff probably.

The Hook
My deviations Shimmering and Violet Sky have been published in a regional magazine called The Hook. They're in the July/August issue on pages 44 and 46 in a story about the Bashakill wetland.
Last Sunday Ed Morse and I went out to one of the islands in the Bashakill to rescue an injured eagle fledgeling. She's doing well at the The Delaware Valley Raptor Center. Please support them if you can. She may or may not be able to fly and be re-released. It's too early to tell.
The photo of Ed in the magazine shows him in the early spring when the water was flooding the boat launch. Also, they misspelled eagle in his caption. :o
Retro Style Disney Board Books
I spotted some really cute retro style http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/R5pC1dPE1DxgVzg8cstg1g board books. The art and color style are pretty amazing. Being board books the 'stories' are extremely simple and aimed at toddlers but these are very nicely and creatively produced. Love that simplified lineless art.
These are produced by Creative Edge, the same company that makes Disney coloring books, and say distributed by Greenbriar International (Dollar Tree). So they may be only at Dollar Tree stores. I can't seem to find them on Amazon.
Sketchblog
Hey all. I haven't been posting much lately but have started a sketchblog to house lots of rough sketches and other stuff with some written out posts about other crap too. So check it out or something.
